North Algona Wilberforce

The Township of North Algona Wilberforce is a tranquil and scenic rural municipality located in Renfrew County. Formed in 1999 but amalgamating the former townships of North Algona and Wilberforce, the area spans about 369km² and has a population of around 3,100 (2021), giving it a low density and plenty of open space.

The township is defined by its beautiful lakes, rivers, and forests, making it a haven for cottage life and outdoor recreation. Some of its notable water bodies include Golden Lake and Lake Dore, and the Bonnechere River flows through parts of it.
